Saturday Oct 10th Classes

Dear Pique Families,

We appreciate your patience and support as we sort through the information which was released this afternoon by the provincial government. As I write this, the information has changed twice with regards to allowances for dance studios. Based on the short time frame, we have decided to run the classes virtually for tomorrow (Saturday). If your child dances on Saturdays, please check your email, virtual links have been sent out.

Later this weekend, we will send an email with an update with regards to what format the classes will proceed this week (in-studio or virtual).

On behalf of the teachers and staff we thank you for your continued patience and support.

Miss Koryn xo.

The 2020-2021 Dance Year- a message from Miss Koryn

We are very excited to be releasing our new fall schedule on Wednesday August 19th 2020. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to dance where they will enjoy the social, emotional and physical health benefits of dance education while in a SAFE and SANITIZED space. I feel very blessed to be entering my 32nd year as a dance educator, my 23rd year as a studio owner and my 22nd year as a Mom. Please know that I think of your child as my child and have always wanted nothing but the very best for all dancers physically, socially and mentally. My own family are an “at risk” family. As a dance studio and as a family we are taking the advice from the Canadian government very seriously. We want everyone who enters Pique to thrive in a safe environment. ~Miss Koryn

Summer Camp 2020

It is with regret that we announce that we will not be holding a summer camp program this year. For the safety of our dancers we will be focusing on procedures for our Fall 2020 classes. We are excited to announce the launch of our July Summer Dance Series. Please click on the “Summer Programs” tab above to read more about the exciting classes that we are offering throughout the month of July! 🙂

Update Including Recital Information

Due to the ongoing COVID 19 crisis we have made the difficult decision to not hold a recital in 2020. Algonquin has cancelled all performance dates until the end of June and we do not feel that rebooking at this time is in anyone’s best interest. We do promise to make next years recital bigger and better and have secured a Saturday May 29, 2021, performance date.

Costume deposits collected in September from our mini level and above classes, including Tiny/Mini Hip Hop will be refunded. If you are a member of any of our Competitive/Pre-Competitive Teams a family credit has been placed on the upcoming costume invoice. To all other dancers a form will be available on our website for you to request a credit to 2021 or request a refund. Please complete the form and forward it to us, or simply send us the information requested in an email.

Starlite and Tiny classes where the deposit was collected will be contacted separately. Cheques have not been cashed. If you do not hear from us by May 1, please feel free to contact us by email.

We will continue to offer online classes until the end of the term, or in the studio when cleared to do so.

We thank you for your continued support.
